Limit number of contacts able to be selected

We're using the Plaxo widget to import contacts to invite to a portion of our site. The user will only have a fixed number of invitations, say 10.

I'd really like only allow the user to select that many contacts from the Plaxo widget. Can I pass a parameter in the query string so the user can only select 10 of their contacts?

Instead of having them select more than that and needing to handle the error or drop the ones they selected.

Limiting the number of contacts selected is not a feature of the Address Book widget.
