I've been using Google Calendar synched with my Outlook on my home and work computers; recently I started using Plaxo Premium to synch contacts, notes, tasks, and calendars between the home and work machines.
I tried to sync today and got an error that I had over 10000 appointments on my calendar! I went back through and discovered that dozens of my Outlook calendar entried had been duplicated multipled times - most of them thirty to fifty times, but one had been duplicated over five thousand times! I've been trying to clean them up. I have been able to find most of the offending entries in Outlook and, using table view, batch-select them and delete them. But I still get errors when I try to sync, and when I go into my calendar on the Plaxo website I still see the multiple entries - and I can't even find a way to batch delete those, but rather can only delete them one at a time! I've tried running the de-duper and it helpfully informs me that I have no duplicates in my caledar! How nice. Any help anyone can offer would be great; I am still in my trial period for Plaxo Premium and frankly if this is the kind of situation I am going to end up with there's no way I am going to use it... |
