One of the biggest missing features I see from Plaxo's iPhone site is this:
- Accessibility to tasks, calendar and notes. Sure, contacts and calendar are available when you iTunes sync. However Notes can not be synchronized through iTunes. I used to view these items with Plaxo online through the iPhone, but now with the iPhone Plaxo they are not available, and if you go to the regular site with the iPhone browser, the site crashes the iBrowser every time when you click on 'More' in order to get to that data. I have depended on the ability to access these features online, from my iPhone and from two computers, please bring the old site back, or improve the iPhone site!! |

Amazing that a year can go by and still no word from Plaxo regarding an iPhone app. Does anyone from Plaxo even read this forum???

One-time contact manager, now full-blown social networking site Plaxo has its share of fans and detractors; despite the privacy concerns of its address management techniques, you can't deny that its Mac support has been good and getting better, with a new build of the Address Book plugin released on January 16. Now the Plaxo Pulse service has joined the touchable generation by releasing an iPhone-optimized UI for Pulse. If you haven't seen Pulse, it provides a social superfeed of the actions and updates your friends and contacts have posted to their various info outlets (kind of like Flock in the cloud). It may seem Big Brotherish, but if you're already using Plaxo, an iPhone version could be icing on the cake.

I've been a Plaxo member for years now. Love the service, but it seems to be struggling to keep up. With the Comcast purchase, it seems to have taken a different direction towards Social Networking rather than refining the useful features it has already develop. The following are some I'd like to list:
- Multiple Calendar Sync with Google - 2-Way Sync with Google Contacts - Direct Sync with iPhone or an iPhone app would do. I really hope I can get the above features soon otherwise I see myself moving over to Google as my base for contacts and address book, since I'd be able to do OTA sync with my iPhone without having to pay for it. |

I am happy to inform you all that the latest release (1.3) of My Hub is out on the app store today and that it support Plaxo.
For info, My Hub is a universal/social address book that connects your Facebook, Twitter and/or Plaxo contacts to your phone address book. It rocks, go get it if you've been waiting for Plaxo on your iPhone http://itunes.com/app/myhub |
